At the age of twenty-three, Michael Brody-Waite was a full-blown drug addict. He had been kicked out of college, fired from his job, and evicted from his apartment. He had no money and no home, was throwing up blood, and believed he would be dead before his thirtieth birthday.
Then, on September 1, 2002, he checked into rehab, entered recovery, and has been transforming himself every day since. His TEDx Nashville YouTube video “Great Leaders Do What Drug Addicts Do” is the number one talk in the history of TEDx Nashville and sparked the #MaskFreeMovement, built on three principles inspired by his recovery, showing leaders how to achieve balance, reclaim energy, and thrive in work and life.
Michael is an acclaimed speaker, Inc. 500 entrepreneur, award-winning, three-time CEO, a leadership coach, and author of Great Leaders Live Like Drug Addicts: How to Lead Like Your Life Depends on It.
Today, Michael is on a mission to teach individuals, organizations, and communities how to lead themselves by living mask-free.

False Beliefs Make You Fall Into The Alcoholism Trap; Here's How to Climb Out
Saturday Mar 14, 2020

Gary van Warmerdam is the creator of PathwayToHappiness.com, an interactive website with lessons for changing beliefs that drive negative thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. In 1994, due to his own unhappiness with work and emotional drama in his relationships, Gary became motivated to learn about how his beliefs affected his emotions and decision making. He studied extensively with Dr Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements and other best-selling books. Gary realized that with a proper approach, he could gain greater control over his mind and emotions. The key was unlocking the unconscious beliefs that were running his mind and emotions. With that, he could reclaim power over his mind. With practice, he developed the freedom to choose the peace and happiness he was seeking. Educated and experienced as an engineer, Gary brings a common sense approach to changing beliefs, emotions, mindfulness, and living in greater happiness. Since 2001 Gary has been teaching, leading retreats and coaching individual clients so they can live happier lives. His methods are not limited to a particular philosophy or approach, but are based on careful observation and getting practical results. You can Gary's work through his book MindWorks or at his website PathwayToHappiness.com, which has extensive material and online courses for changing beliefs, emotions, and creating better relationships. You can learn more on Gary's work at https://pathwaytohappiness.com/, and can buy his book Mindworks on Amazon.
